OPP officials allege: Police are investigating a break and enter at a local business and are asking for the public’s help in identifying those responsible.
Members of the Lambton County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched on April 24, 2026, just before 9:30 a.m. to a business on Front Street for a report of a break-in.
The investigation determined that unknown individuals gained entry to the business between 4 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Police said it is not yet known what, if anything, was stolen.
Investigators are looking to identify two suspects and a vehicle believed to be involved in the incident. Police described one suspect as a white male with dark hair and a beard, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white writing on the sleeves, black pants and brown high-top shoes or boots. The second suspect was described as wearing blue jeans and a purple or burgundy shirt.
The vehicle is described as a small black sedan with silver wheels or hubcaps and no window tint.
The investigation remains ongoing.
