Glasstown Brewing Company is gearing up for a busy month with extended hours, new offerings and a full slate of events.
Located at 331 James Street in Wallaceburg, the brewery will begin opening on Tuesdays starting May 5.
That same day, the patio will officially open for the season, giving customers a chance to enjoy the warmer weather.
Live music will be featured on the patio every Friday night and Sunday afternoon.
To mark Cinco de Mayo, Glasstown is preparing a special batch of Libby Lager with lime added. The kitchen will also be serving tacos and other Mexican‑inspired dishes to go along with the celebration.
On May 7, the brewery will host a wine and food pairing in the speakeasy at 6:30 p.m. Reservations are encouraged for those who want to take part in the evening.
Mother’s Day brunch is set for Sunday, May 10. The team recommends booking ahead, as the event is expected to be busy. Guests can also look forward to a variety of prizes being given out throughout the day.
Later in the month, Glasstown will hold a seafood night on May 22. These dinners are known to fill up quickly, especially with oysters and a rotating selection of seafood on the menu.
Owner Todd Shepley shared all of the details in an interview, offering a look at what customers can expect as the brewery heads into a packed spring season.
