Residents looking for a meal option over the long weekend are invited to attend a free community supper Saturday evening at Wallaceburg First Baptist Church.
The supper is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the church, located at 99 Thomas Ave. in Wallaceburg.
Organizers say the menu will include chicken alfredo, Caesar salad, garlic bread and assorted cakes for dessert.
“Well, it’s the LONG weekend, and we’ve got your Saturday supper plans covered,” the church said in a public announcement.
“Join us at 5 pm at First Baptist Church Wallaceburg for a delicious FREE meal consisting of: Chicken Alfredo, Caesar salad, garlic bread, and assorted cakes for dessert.”
Organizers added that extra food may also be available for attendees to take home.
“We may have some extra for you to take home, too, so bring an empty container if you have one. Come hungry!” the announcement said.
