The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is inviting residents to take part in a public engagement session as it develops a long-term waste management strategy.
The session is scheduled for June 4 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Civic Centre Atrium, 315 King St. W. in Chatham.
Officials say no registration is required and all residents are welcome to attend. The municipality is encouraging participants to learn about the options being considered, share feedback and ideas, and help prioritize future directions for local waste management.
“Join us at our Public Engagement Session for the Waste Management Long-Term Strategy. We are developing a Long-Term Waste Management Strategy and want to hear from you,” the municipality said in a social media post.
The engagement session is part of the municipality’s ongoing work to shape its long-term approach to waste services and planning.
