Police seek public assistance in Petrolia business break-in

OPP officials allege: Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a break-in at a business in Petrolia and are asking for the public’s help in identifying those responsible.

Police said officers were dispatched to a business on Petrolia Line at about 1:10 a.m. on May 15 following a report of a break and enter.

Investigators determined that two unidentified individuals entered the business shortly after 1 a.m. and stole an undetermined quantity of merchandise.

The suspects are described as two males believed to be teenagers. One was described as having a slim build and standing between approximately five-foot-seven and five-foot-11, while the second was described as standing between approximately five-foot-five and five-foot-nine with brown hair and brown eyes.

The investigation remains ongoing.
