Mr. Anthony “Tony” Ouellette passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance in Chatham at the age of 82 years.
He was born in Chatham and was a son of the late Hillary and Alice (O’Rourke) Ouellette.
Beloved husband of Shirley (Loyst) Ouellette. Dear father of John (Laura) Loyst and grandfather of Montana and Tate.
Kind brother of Elizabeth (the late Jerome) Kohel and predeceased by his siblings Mary Frances (late Lawrence) Kehoe, Rosemary (late Patrick) Zimmer, Jeanne (late Jack) Harding, Winnifred (late Peter) Gillier, Amelia Ouellette and Julia (late George) Denys.
He will be Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
The late Tony Ouellette is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. (639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg).
Visitation will be held from 11am -12noon on Saturday, June 6, 2026 followed by a short service at the funeral home.
Interment will then take place in Blackburn Cemetery, Dresden.
