The Dresden Business Improvement Area is inviting residents and visitors to take part in Taste of Dresden, an evening event featuring food tastings, samples and live entertainment while raising funds for the Dresden Community Foodbank.
The event will feature tastings and samples at 17 local businesses throughout the community. Visitors will also be able to enjoy live music at Clocktower Commons, located behind Town Hall, with a performance by Jeff the Barber.
Organizers say the event is an opportunity for people to explore local businesses and experience everything Dresden has to offer while supporting a local cause.
Admission requires the purchase of a $5 Taste of Dresden Passport, with all proceeds benefiting the Dresden Community Foodbank. Passports will be available for purchase during the event at Clocktower Commons and can also be purchased in advance at McKellar’s Flowers and Union Block Bakery.
The Dresden BIA said all funds raised through passport sales will be directed to the food bank.
