Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 56-year-old Chatham woman was arrested on outstanding warrants after Chatham-Kent police attended a call for service on Willowmac Avenue on Wednesday evening.
Police said officers were at an address on Willowmac Avenue at about 5:46 p.m. on June 10 for a matter unrelated to the arrest when they observed a woman known to have an active warrant with the Chatham-Kent Police Service.
The woman was arrested on warrants for assault and assault causing bodily harm.
She was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and later released with a future court date of July 20, 2026.
