OPP officials allege: Stoney Creek driver is facing a careless driving charge following a collision involving two tractor-trailers on Highway 402 in Lambton County.
Ontario Provincial Police said emergency crews responded shortly before 6:30 a.m. on June 16 to a crash in the westbound lanes of Highway 402 in Warwick Township.
Members of the Lambton County OPP, Emergency Medical Services and Township of Warwick Fire and Rescue attended the scene.
Following an investigation, police charged a 50-year-old person from Stoney Creek with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
The highway remained closed for an extended period while investigators examined the scene and crews completed cleanup operations. It has since reopened.
