Wallaceburg resident charged in intimate partner violence investigation

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Chatham-Kent police have charged a 29-year-old Wallaceburg resident following an intimate partner violence investigation.

Officers responded to a disturbance at a Wallaceburg residence at about 6:47 p.m. on June 21.

Police allege the accused assaulted, choked and threatened the victim during the incident.

The accused was arrested and charged with uttering threats and assault causing bodily harm.
