NatureCK is inviting residents to share the stories behind the trees that hold special meaning to them as part of its Best Tree in Chatham-Kent 2026 contest.
Organizers said submissions can highlight trees valued for their beauty, history, size, wildlife significance or personal importance.
Eligible entries will be featured on the organization’s website, with nominations accepted until Aug. 15. Winners will be announced Sept. 15.
