A new art exhibition featuring works by local painters capturing Chatham-Kent landscapes is now on display at the Wallaceburg & District Museum.
Plein Air Artists Chatham-Kent (PAACK) has launched its first “Living Exhibition,” showcasing a rotating collection of plein air and studio paintings created by local artists across the municipality. The group describes the show as a celebration of Chatham-Kent’s landscapes, history and natural beauty, painted directly in outdoor settings.
Organizers say the exhibition is called a “living exhibition” because new artwork will be added each week, offering visitors an evolving display of freshly completed works inspired by locations throughout the region.
The exhibition runs from July 1 to Aug. 31, 2026, at the Wallaceburg & District Museum, located at 505 King St. in Wallaceburg. The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
PAACK is thanking the Wallaceburg and District Council for the Arts and the Wallaceburg & District Museum for their support of the project.
