The Chatham-Kent Public Library’s Chatham branch is marking the “dog days of summer” with an August movie lineup featuring films where dogs take centre stage.
The free Tuesday afternoon screenings run at 2 p.m. and begin August 4 with “Dog Days,” rated PG and featuring Nina Dobrev, Vanessa Hudgens and Adam Pally. The series continues August 11 with “Call of the Wild,” rated PG and featuring Harrison Ford, Omar Sy and Cara Gee, followed by “Megan Leavey,” rated PG and featuring Kate Mara, Ramón Rodriguez and Tom Felton, on August 18. The lineup wraps up August 25 with “Paterson,” rated 14A and featuring Adam Driver, Golshifteh Farahani and Nellie the Dog.
