Sarnia Police officials allege: Sarnia police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects following an armed robbery early Tuesday morning.
Officers were dispatched to a business in the 300 block of Wellington Street just after 12 a.m. on July 28, 2026, following a report of a robbery.
Police determined two masked individuals, a man and a woman, entered the business and carried out the robbery. The man approached the victim and handed over a note demanding money from the register. The note contained threats of violence if the victim did not comply.
The woman then walked the victim to the register and, once it was opened, took all the cash and some change, amounting to several hundred dollars.
The suspects left the business at approximately 12:19 a.m. and were last seen travelling southbound on Wellington Street on foot.
Patrol officers and the Canine Unit searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
The female suspect was described as wearing a green baseball cap, a black-and-white pinstripe jacket, a black-and-white horizontally striped shirt, black capri pants, red shoes and a white medical mask. She was carrying a folding pocket knife.
The male suspect was described as wearing blue shoes, dark shorts, a blue T-shirt, a red/orange hat, a green backpack and a white mask.
Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspects, or anyone with doorbell or dashcam video from the area around the time of the incident, is asked to contact the Sarnia Police Service at 519-344-8861.
