The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance says an IT systems malfunction is causing delays to some patient care services, including diagnostic imaging.
In a statement Saturday, CKHA officials said patient care continues despite the technical issues, while teams work to resolve the problem.
The health-care organization emphasized that the incident is not a cybersecurity event.
“Patient care continues, and our teams are working to resolve the issues,” CKHA said.
Officials apologized for the disruption and thanked patients and families for their patience and understanding as the issue is addressed.
