Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Chatham man has been charged following a dispute in Chatham Tuesday evening.
Police were dispatched to an address in Chatham at approximately 8:15 p.m. on September 9, 2026 regarding the dispute.
A 31-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and released on a Form 10 with a court date of October 20, 2026.
The victim sought medical attention as a result of the incident.
