2026 Star Search is getting ready to take over Friday nights in Wallaceburg as the CBD Club launches its annual karaoke singing contest.
Running from September 18 through October 23, the event brings weeks of music, competition and community excitement, all leading up to a finale with eighteen hundred dollars in cash prizes.
Contestants must be nineteen or older to take part.
Qualifying rounds will be held on September 18, September 25 and October 2.
Registration opens at seven o’clock in the lounge on each qualifying night and singers must be signed in by 7:30 p.m.
Only 20 spots are available per night and early registration is not permitted.
Rules can be picked up at the bar or requested by email.
Semi‑finals will take place on October 9 and October 16, followed by the finals on October 23.
Personal CDs will not be accepted, so participants are asked to email Marty ahead of time to confirm that their song choice is available.
Entry forms and full contest rules can be found in the lounge bar at the CBD Club on Dufferin Avenue.
