Limited tickets remain for the 2026 Hospice Benefit Gala, taking place Friday, Oct. 23, at the Chatham Armoury, as the community comes together to celebrate 10 years of Chatham-Kent Hospice and remember the many lives and families touched by its care.
The formal evening will feature a gourmet meal and an opportunity to bid on a variety of memory-making experiences through the live and silent auctions. Guests will also learn more about the impact Hospice has had in Chatham-Kent over the past decade through a special Hospice family Heart Story.
A special part of this year’s evening will be a 10th anniversary memorial activity, giving guests an opportunity to pause, reflect and honour loved ones who are no longer with us.
Returning this year is the Diamond Draw, courtesy of Mittons Jewellers in Ridgetown, along with the Golden Ticket Draw, which gives one lucky winner the chance to select a silent auction item and instantly make it theirs. The evening will conclude with an after-party and DJ for those who wish to continue celebrating.
“This year’s Gala is particularly special as we celebrate 10 years of Chatham-Kent Hospice,” said Ginny Hawken, special event committee chair and Foundation board member. “Over the past decade, Hospice has been there for thousands of individuals and families, providing compassionate care and creating space for meaningful moments together. The Gala is an opportunity to celebrate that impact, remember those we have lost, and look ahead to the future of Hospice in our community.”
Now in its ninth year, the Hospice Benefit Gala has raised more than $750,000 to support care planning, residential hospice care, and grief and bereavement support in Chatham-Kent. The event has been made possible in part through the support of Victory Lincoln, which has served as title sponsor since the gala’s inception, as well as Kent & Essex Mutual, Battery Boy and Fairway Wealth Management.
A limited number of tickets remain, priced at $250 per person, including a $100 tax receipt. Tickets can be purchased by calling 519-354-3113, ext. 2300, or visiting ckhospicegala.com.
