NatureCK has sent the same five questions on nature, biodiversity and the natural world to Chatham-Kent candidates for mayor and council ahead of the municipal election.
There are 85 candidates listed. NatureCK was able to email 76 of them, while nine did not have a registered email address available. Those candidates are welcome to contact the organization for the questionnaire link and code. All candidates have until Oct. 10 to participate.
Responses appear automatically on a page as candidates submit them, and are posted as submitted, with no editing or commentary. Residents can find candidates by scrolling the list, searching by name or keyword, or filtering by position and ward.
The page is available at natureck.ca/post/natureck-asks-the-candidates.
