If a pair of shoes doesn’t fit properly, you probably won’t wear them.
Hearing aids aren’t much different.
If they hurt, work their way out of your ears, feel awkward, or you’re constantly aware that they’re there, eventually you may start reaching for them less and less.
And that matters, because even a great hearing aid can’t help very much when it’s sitting in a drawer.
Sometimes the solution is surprisingly small. A different dome. A different wire length. A small physical adjustment. Sometimes we need to look at a different style altogether.
That’s also why a hearing aid fitting isn’t really finished the day you pick up your hearing aids.
If you find yourself taking yours out because they’re uncomfortable, tell us. You don’t have to just get used to something that doesn’t fit well.
A few millimetres can make a pretty big difference. 👂👟
