Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 26-year-old Chatham man has been charged after police say he repeatedly tried to contact a woman despite a court order prohibiting it.
Chatham-Kent police received a report at about 3:10 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19, about a man breaching his release conditions. Police say that on Oct. 17 and 18, the man went to residences where the woman was present and tried to communicate with her.
The man was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 20, and charged with four counts of failing to comply with a release order. He was held pending a bail hearing.
