Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police responded to the report of a suspicious man on Selkirk Street in Wallaceburg.
Officers located the man and through investigation learned that he was wanted for failing to comply with his Probation Order.
A 27-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested and released pending a future court date of June 9, 2020.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, a man wanted for failing to comply with his release conditions was arrested in London.
The 36-year-old man was transported back to Chatham-Kent for court purposes and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Motor vehicle collision in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police responded to a two vehicle collision on Park Avenue East between Degge Street and Park Lane in Chatham.
No one was injured.
A 49-year-old Windsor woman was charged with changing lanes, not in safety.
Man charged with mischief
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday afternoon, a woman was at a local gas station in Wallaceburg when a man known to her, stopped and kicked a light on her vehicle, causing it to break.
On Sunday night, police located the man and he was arrested.
The 40-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged with mischief under $5,000.
He was released pending a future court date of June 5, 2020.
Man charged with domestic related offences
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Chatham.
Through investigation, police learned that during a verbal argument, the man damaged items in the home belonging to the woman.
Officers located the man a short distance away from the residence and he was arrested.
Upon being searched incident to arrest, the man was found to be in possession of a spring loaded knife.
The 40-year-old Bothwell man was charged with mischief under $5,000 and being in possession of a prohibited weapon.
He was released pending a future court date of June 5, 2020.
Found personal mobility scooter
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Sunday afternoon, a red mobility scooter was located near Cascades Casino on Richmond Street in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police would like to return the scooter to its rightful owner.
