The 56-year-old Chatham man was located by police.

The man was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and unable to care for himself.

He has been held in custody until sober.

Vehicle complaint leads to refusal

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening, police received a complaint of a possible impaired driver in Dresden.

Police located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop.

An approved screening device demand was given and the female driver refused to provide a sample of her breath.

A 57-year-old Chatham women was arrested for refusal.

Her drivers licenses has been suspended for 90 days and her vehicle has been impounded for seven days.

She was released from custody pending a future court date.
