A Remembrance Day Ceremony is being held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, on Walpole Island First Nation.
The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and will last for approximately one hour.
A walk will begin from the Bkejwanong Children’s Centre to the Walpole Island Veteran’s Monument.
“We hope you can join us to honour all our veterans,” organizers say.
“All welcome to the ceremony.”
The event is hosted by the Bkejwanong Children’s Centre, in participation with: Bkejwanong Biiweziimag Kinomaagewgamig, Bkejwanong Kinomaagewgamig, Anishinaabe Kinomaagewgamig, Maatookiidaa Anishinaabewin II and the WDSS Future Elders.
