Man arrested for criminal harassment

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On January 23, 2023 at 7:08 a.m. police responded to an unwanted person complainant in Blenheim.

Through investigation, it was learned that a man had been continually attending his mother’s residence despite being trespassed from the property and previously removed numerous times by police.

The man was subsequently located a short distance away by police and arrested for criminal harassment.

The 19-year-old Blenheim man was held in police custody pending a bail hearing.

Warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On January 23, 2023 at 12:50 p.m. a woman attended the Chatham Courthouse where she was arrested on the strength of a DNA warrant.

The 46-year-old Chatham woman was released unconditionally from custody subsequent to a DNA sample being obtained.

On January 23, 2023 at 1:43 p.m. a woman attended police headquarters to turn herself in on two outstanding warrants for the failing to attend court and assault.

The 36-year-old Chatham woman was arrested on the strength of these warrants and held in police custody pending a bail hearing.
