Police: Failing to comply, domestic offenses, outstanding warrant

Man arrested for failing to comply

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On February 11, 2023 a 36-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested for uttering threats and mischief under $5,000.

He was subsequently released on an undertaking with multiple conditions, one of which prohibited him from attending the victim’s residence.

On April 26, 2023 at approximately 12:20 p.m. the man attended the victim’s residence contrary to his imposed conditions.

Police arrived on scene a short time later and located the man in the backyard of the property where he was arrested for fail to comply with undertaking.

The man was ultimately transported to be police headquarters where he was held in police custody pending a bail hearing.

Woman arrested on domestic related offences

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On April 26, 2023 at approximately 5:03 a.m. police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the area of Grand Ave East in Chatham.

Through investigation, police formed grounds to arrest a 27-year-old Camlachie woman for assault, mischief under $5,000 and theft under $5,000.

At approximately 10:47am police located the woman at an address in Wallaceburg where she was arrested without incident.

She was later released from police custody on an undertaking with a future court date.

Man arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On April 26, 2023 at approximately 10:39 a.m. police located a 38-year old man at a residence in Thamesville wanted on several warrants for failing to attend court.

The man was subsequently arrested on the strength of these warrants and transported to police headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.
