Police: Uttering threats to kill, warrants executed

Neighbour dispute leads to arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On September 23, 2023 at approximately 11 a.m. a 53-year-old man attended his neighbour’s address in Chatham over a parking dispute.

The 53-year-old was irate and began yelling profanities at the victim and making demands a vehicle be moved.

At the end of the dispute the 53-year-old man stated he would run over the victim’s children if he found them playing in the street.

The suspect was located and arrested for Uttering Threats to Kill.

The suspect was released with bail conditions and a future court date.

Woman arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On September 23, 2023 at approximately 8 a.m. an 18-year-old woman was located in Chatham by an officer on general patrol.

The woman was found to have two outstanding warrants pertaining to multiple criminal investigations.

The warrants were not endorsed, and the accused was held pending a bail hearing.

Man arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On September 23, 2023 at approximately 6 a.m. the 911 dispatch for the Chatham-Kent Police received a pocket dial.

The owner of the phone was found to have an outstanding warrant.

Police attended the 39-year-old’s residence and confirmed there was no emergency.

The man was then arrested on the outstanding warrant and released at his residence with a future court date.
