Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon at approximately 1:30 p.m. police located the male at an address on Water Street in the town of Florence.
Officers confirmed the man was currently wanted on an outstanding warrant for Assault Cause Bodily Harm and Assault with a Weapon.
In connection with a separate incident, police additionally charged the male with two counts of Utter Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm and Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle.
The 23-year-old Highgate man currently faces the following charges: Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Assault with a Weapon, two counts of Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm and Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle.
The accused was arrested for the above-mentioned offences, transported to police headquarters, and later released with a future court date of December 11th, 2023.
