Glock BB gun pulled during a dispute over a boat sale in Wallaceburg, arrest made by police

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On the June 22, 2024, at approximately 12:24 p.m., a 26-year-old Wallaceburg man attended a residence in Wallaceburg and threatened a male with a handgun in a dispute over the sale of a boat.

The male suspect was located by police a short distance away and was arrested without incident.

The handgun was located by police and confirmed to be a realistic looking Glock BB gun.

The male suspect was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was later released on a future court date with conditions.
