The annual Salvation Army of Chatham-Kent Christmas Kettle campaign is underway.
“In Chatham-Kent we will be helping approximately 1,000 households with Gift Cards and Toys this year,” said Major Larry Bridger, Corps Officer.
“Thus, as we launch our Kettle and Toy Drives, we will need tremendous support from the community. Our financial Fund-Raising goal this Christmas through all sources of monetary donations is $550,000. We hope to raise $250,000 of that total through our Christmas Kettles. We will have our kettles out at eight locations between Chatham and Wallaceburg this year.”
