Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHAF) has announced the launch of the Igniting Healthcare Holiday 50/50 on Tuesday, November 19.
Featuring a $50,000 minimum guaranteed jackpot and $10,000 in total Early Bird prizes, this exciting lottery will once again offer participants the chance to win big while supporting our local hospital.
Proceeds from the 50/50 will support the purchase of a new fluoroscopy machine for Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA).
A fluoroscopy machine is a vital piece of imaging technology that enables real-time X-ray guidance, allowing our local hospital staff to perform accurate, minimally invasive procedures, reducing patient recovery times and improving outcomes.
By participating in the Holiday 50/50, supporters are directly contributing to the health and well-being of families across Chatham-Kent.
The lottery will run throughout the holiday season, with the grand prize draw to be held on Thursday, January 9.
In December, the Foundation will be offering 12 Days of Prizes, where an Early Bird prize will be given away every day from December 2 to 5, December 9 to 12, and December 16 to 19. An additional $2,000 pre-draw Early Bird prize will also be given away on Wednesday, January 8.

The Foundation held their first ever Holiday 50/50 in 2023, raising an impressive $119,090 in total ticket sales. The $59,545 jackpot was awarded to Carol Heuvelmans from Erieau.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.ignite5050.ca starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19.
In person ticket sales will also be available at the CKHAF office (9 Ursuline Ave, Chatham), Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and at various pop-up locations throughout the community during the campaign. Ticket pricing options include 5 numbers for $10.00, 20 numbers for $20.00, 150 numbers for $50.00, or 500 numbers for $100.00.
