Arlinda ‘Archi’ Buckshot

With heavy hearts we announce that Arlinda Joyce Buckshot ‘Archi’, a member of Walpole Island First Nation passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the age of 71.

Arlinda will be forever cherished by her husband Dominic and her daughters Bonnie (Benjamin) Baker, Alexis Buckshot and Danielle Buckshot.

She is loving remembered by her favourite grandchild Harmony Baker and her God Daughter Sasha Blackbird.

Daughter of the late Wilfred Norman and Constance Joyce (Wrightman) Lallean.

Beloved sister of Norma Goudreau (Pierre), Bradley Lallean (Reneé), Patsy Milliken (the late Garnett), her little sister Constance Wrightman and the late Jeffrey Lallean (Teresa), the late Timothy Lallean, the late Kevin Lallean and the late Karen Lallean.

Dear sister-in-law of Cecilia Buckshot and the late Ann Lazore, the late Mary Ann Buckshot, the late Donald Buckshot and the late Margaret Buckshot.

Forever loved by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

Arlinda was strong in her faith, which showed by the many years she ministered at Walpole Island Evangelistic Centre, doing her Radio Ministry, acting as a Prayer Warrior and her travels to Walk where Jesus Walked.

She also loved to write and play guitar as well as spend time with her family going on vacations.

Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Walpole Island Evangelistic Centre on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 2pm until 11pm.

Her funeral will be held at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at 11am with burial to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
