‘The Gift’ is taking place across Chatham-Kent on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
“The Gift is in its fifth year and started in 2020,” organizers say.
“This annual community wide toy and food drive, which communities from all corners of Chatham-Kent come together to support, has collected hundreds of thousands toys and canned goods over the years. On Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 12 p.m., everyone in Chatham-Kent is invited to put a gift on their doorstep. Volunteers will pick up the gifts and get them in the right hands this holiday season.”
Organizers added: “Items that are in high demand include food, toys, blankets, hygiene products. The Gift can truly be anything for anyone. Use your imagination. We welcome anything that you think would benefit someone this holiday season. If you’re need inspiration, we have many ideas listed on the homepage and on social media.”
