OPP officials allege: Driver charged with stunt driving in Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc.
On January 2, 2025, at 3:36 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol on Longwoods Road in the Municipality of Strathroy Caradoc, observed a vehicle travelling in excess of the posted 60 km/h speed limit at which time a traffic stop was initiated.
As a result, a 34-year-old of London, has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with: Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed.
The driver’s licence has been suspended for 30 days and the vehicle has been impounded for 14 days.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Provincial Traffic Court to speak to the charges at a later date.
