Jeffery Stephen Steel McGhie, 51, passed away on April 22, 2025 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance in Wallaceburg, Ontario.
Jeffery was born on March 15, 1974 in Windsor, Ontario to parents Robert and Amy McGhie. Jeffery is survived by his wife of 10 years, Nicole Yacks. He was the beloved father of Emily McGhie and Cabella McGhie and the cherished son-in-law of Pamela and the late Garry MacKay. Jeff will also be missed by his siblings, Brittany McGhie (Rob), Donald McGhie (Jessie) and Russell McGhie (Mary) and Nicole’s siblings, Gordon Huckle (Candice) and Amanda Thomas.
He was loved by everyone, including his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Jeff loved cooking, fishing, hunting, camping and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. He was always so generous with his time and enjoyed teaching children how to fish.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
