This summer, throughout June, July, and August, CKRecreation is once again hosting SummerFest – free community events across Chatham-Kent with activities for everyone to enjoy.
“We are thrilled to offer free active community programs to the residents of Chatham-Kent again this summer,” said Amy Wadsworth, Manager Recreation Services and Community Engagement, in a media release.
“We hope that families take advantage of these opportunities to get outside, have fun, and connect with their community.”
The CKRecreation PlayRangers will be visiting events across Chatham-Kent. Look for the big PlayRangers truck bringing unique and engaging equipment and toys, ensuring fun for all ages. See the full schedule at www.Chatham-Kent.ca/Recreation
CKRecreation will be offering free Rec Swims at our outdoor and indoor municipal pools across Chatham-Kent starting June 29. Visit www.Chatham-Kent.ca/Pools to view the current pool schedules.
CKRecreation will be hosting beach days in July and August at Erieau and Mitchell’s Bay. Families are invited to join CKRecreation at Mitchell’s Bay on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm for a day of fun in the sun, with lots of beach toys and activities for kids. In Erieau, the focus will be games for youth and adults, every Sunday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. CK Rec staff will be on hand to help run activities and ensure everyone has a great time.
