Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 46-year-old Woodsley woman has been charged after police received multiple reports of an impaired driver on Grand Avenue West Friday night.
Chatham-Kent police say they were called around 10 p.m. November 7 after a vehicle reversed into a pole outside a local business. Officers later located the vehicle on Keil Drive South and identified the driver as the sole occupant.
Police said the woman showed signs of impairment and was arrested. She was taken to police headquarters, where she provided two breath samples that registered over the legal limit.
The accused was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus. She was released with a court date of November 24, 2025.
