Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 39-year-old man was arrested early Tuesday morning in connection with a property damage investigation on King Street West.
Chatham-Kent police were initially called to a residence on King Street West on February 3 after receiving a report of property damage. Officers reviewed CCTV footage that showed a man attending the building and damaging a doorbell and intercom system before leaving the area.
Following further investigation, police identified the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest on a charge of mischief under $5,000. The man was located by officers on King Street West shortly after midnight and arrested without incident. He was taken to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date.
