OPP officials allege: A 21-year-old is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle collision in St. Clair Township.
Members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded shortly after 10:15 p.m. on February 19, 2026, to a collision in the area of St. Clair Parkway and Moore Line.
Police said the investigation determined the vehicle left the roadway and became stuck in the snow. No injuries were reported.
As a result of the investigation, the Corunna resident was charged under the Criminal Code with operation while impaired — alcohol and drugs, and operation while impaired — blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment were initiated.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on March 30, 2026.
Police said road safety remains a priority and encouraged the public to report suspected impaired drivers by contacting the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
