Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 46-year-old Chatham-Kent woman has been charged after police responded to a reported break-and-enter at a residence on George Street in Chatham.
Police said officers were dispatched at about 2:47 p.m. on June 7. A homeowner returning to the residence found a woman inside, according to investigators.
The woman was arrested for break-and-enter to a dwelling house with intent to commit an indictable offence. She was released with a court date of Aug. 31, 2026.
