As families across the region gear up for another back‑to‑school season, the Sarnia Staples store is once again stepping forward to support students through the 21st annual Staples School Supply Drive.
What happens inside the store goes far beyond shopping.
It’s a local story about neighbours helping neighbours, and every donation made in Sarnia stays in the community and surrounding areas through the Kiwanis Foundation of Canada.
The goal is simple: make sure students and families who need essential school supplies have them.
Last year they helped 15 schools.
Store manager Lynn Faubert shared how this year’s drive is shaping up, what trends she’s seeing in back‑to‑school shopping, and why community support remains so important.
She explained that donations can be made in store until September 27, giving residents plenty of time to contribute to a cause that directly impacts local children.
Lynn also offered practical tips for parents looking to shop smarter, stretch their budgets, and make sure their kids start the year with confidence.
The Sarnia Staples team is ready to welcome the community at 1379 London Rd., where every contribution helps build a stronger start for students across the area.
