Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 21-year-old Raleigh Township man is facing impaired driving charges after a single-vehicle collision near A.D. Shadd Line and Seventh Line on Monday.
Chatham-Kent police responded to the collision at approximately 1:04 p.m. Through investigation, officers determined the driver was impaired by alcohol. He was taken to police headquarters, where breath samples registered more than three times the legal limit.
The man was charged with impaired operation and operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit. He was later released with a future court date of Nov. 4.
