Community Living Wallaceburg employees and people supported by the Agency are looking to ‘can hunger’ with a fall food drive in support of the Salvation Army Food Bank.
Canvassers will be collecting donations across Wallaceburg this morning – Saturday, September 27.
Donated items should be placed in clearly marked bags and left outside the front door of people’s homes no later than 9 a.m.
While all non-perishable food items are welcome, the following items are in greatest need: canned meats, cereals, oatmeal, dry pasta, pasta sauce, canned soups, school snacks, baby food and toiletries.
The team of volunteers gathered this morning outside of the Salvation Army in Wallaceburg.
