Original story: The Chatham-Kent Police Service has released some information about the situation in Dresden.
Last night around 8:00 p.m. officers attended a residence in the Dresden area to arrest a man.
The man was uncooperative and refused to surrender himself. Due to public safety issues, OPP Tactical Response Unit (TRU Team) was called to assist.
Irish School Road between McCreary Line and Kent Line remains closed as officers continue to try and negotiate with the man for a peaceful resolution.
