Yesterday afternoon around 12:20 p.m. an officer on general patrol was travelling on Base Line near Lowe Street in Wallaceburg when he observed a man driving a truck with expired licence plates.
The officer initiated a traffic stop and through investigation learned that the man was also driving with no insurance.
The 58-year-old Wallaceburg was charged with driving a motor vehicle with no validated permit and operating a motor vehicle on a highway with no insurance.
The man’s truck was towed from the roadway.
He will be required to attend court on May 13, 2015 to answer to the charges.
