‘Mary’ Anna Marie Bortolotto, a resident of Wallaceburg, died at the Public General Campus in Chatham on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the age of 87.
Mary was the daughter of the late John and Marie (Bril) Sey. Beloved wife of the late Dominic ‘Don’ Bortolotto (2003). Loving mother of Deb Dauw (Ric) of Wallaceburg, Cindy Matthews (Cecil) of Corunna, Carolyn Fields (Greg) of Belle River. Predeceased by her son-in-law Chip Matthews. Dear grandmother of Alisha (Scott) Abercrombie, Tiffany (Chris) Cadotte, Jeremy (Kristy) Dauw, Trevor Matthews (Jacqueline), Tyler Matthews (Samantha) and Tristan & Riley Fields and great grandmother of Ethan, Spencer, Olivia and Aria. Sister of Minnie Buchner of Woodstock and the late Carolann (Butch Long). She will be missed by her special friends Blanche Herman and Carol Ann & Grail Holek.
Mary was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 18, the Red Hats and the Legion Dart League. She volunteered for the Salvation Army and had retired from St. Clair Technologies.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Sunday. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Holy Family Church on Monday, December 7 at 1:30 PM. Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery.
