HAWLEY; Carl Winston On February 22, 2016 the world lost an incredible, loving man. He put up a courageous battle and fought until the very last moment.
He was predeceased by his mother Kathleen Amanda (Baker) Hawley and father Lorne Garfield Hawley also a brother George Hawley and sister Helen Hawley. He is survived by his common-law spouse Sherry Fry who loved him dearly. He is also survived by his loving children Tina Alderdice (Bryon), Nicole Hawley (Jody Rumble), Daniel Fry (Candace), Kristin Fry (David Taylor), Randy Hawley (Gail), Angela Hawley, Tanya Hawley. He was the greatest Papa to many grandchildren and great grandchildren and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Prior to retirement Carl was one of the best auto mechanics of his day. He was also a Cub Scout leader, enjoyed fishing and later in years adored visiting with anyone who would stop over, as he had an abundance of friends that loved him dearly.
He truly loved our kids and in honour of his caring nature, donations can be made to Thamesville Improvement Association, c/o Mike Wright, 29474 Zone Rd., R.R. 3 Bothwell ON N0P 1C0 specifically for the construction of the splash pad for the kids. He believed kids should be kids as long as they can and would love for them to be playing outdoors.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Dresden Legion at 7 p.m. on Saturday March 12, 2016. He will always be remembered by all who knew and loved him. Farewell to our Dad, Papa, Spouse and best friend to many. Until we meet again. xoxo
