Impaired driving charges have been laid after a parked car, hydro pole and a tree were struck by a vehicle on Saturday.
On Saturday, June 18, 2016 at approximately 6:53 pm, a Dover Township man was driving along Erie Shore Drive near Erieau.
The driver sideswiped a parked car but continued to drive until he struck a hydro pole then a tree.
Chatham-Kent Police arrived on scene and through investigation arrested the driver with impaired driving.
The driver was transported to headquarters where his blood alcohol content was determined to be three times the legal limit.
No one was injured in the crash.
A 38-year-old man has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs.
He will appear in court on July 5, 2016.
