A woman faces assault chargers after an altercation early Saturday morning in Wallaceburg.
On August 13th at approximately 1:20 a.m. officers responded to Dufferin Av, Wallaceburg for an assault complaint.
Witnesses stated that two women were involved in an altercation when one woman grabbed the other by the hair and threw her down onto the ground causing a laceration on her head.
The victim needed several stitches to treat the injury.
An intoxicated Wallaceburg woman was arrested and charged for the assault.
She was held in police custody until sober at which time she was released with conditions and a future court date.
