On February 17, 2016, just after 7:00 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers and Chatham-Kent Fire Services responded to a tractor trailer fire at Highway 401 westbound off ramp at Kent Bridge Road.
The tractor portion of the vehicle suffered fire damage and was extinguished at scene.
No injuries were reported to the 60 year-old lone male driver from Mississauga.
The investigation continues and the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) will be attending at the scene.
The off ramp will remain closed until the completion of the investigation and is expected to reopen later today.
